If you do not agree with any part of the Terms and Conditions, then please do not join. We have written the Terms and Conditions to be simple and easily understood. We also reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time.
The Member Community area of the website is produced by Artemesia on behalf of Judy Hall. The Terms and Conditions set out what is expected of Community Members and what Members can expect of Artemesia.
What we mean by:
Artemesia / We – The company that administers the Member Community area of www.judyhall.co.uk
The Member Community – A subscription-only area of www.judyhall.co.uk that provides, to those who subscribe, content not available on the main website.
Community Member / Member(s) /You – The person who has paid a subscription that gives access to the Member Community
Copyright – The legal right of the owner of literary, artistic or musical work to determine the use of that work and prevent reproduction and use without permission.
All rights reserved – This means the copyright holder, Judy Hall, is the only person who can legally reproduce, adapt, publish, perform and display her work. Others must have her permission.
Without Prejudice – A legal term meaning that in a dispute, statements giving concessions and/or agreements made without prejudice cannot normally be used against the persons involved in the dispute.
Subscriptions will commence with the content for the first month of subscription and will include permanently accessible reference material, plus that month’s new material, and thereafter new content will be accessible monthly. Backdated monthly content will only be available for a fee. This content is for personal use only and cannot be shared with others.
As with the main website, the contents of the Member Community site are the intellectual property of Judy Hall and all rights are reserved. Artemesia will clearly state on the content where the copyright rests with others.
Artemesia reserves the right to change the content, add and remove content at any time.
What you can do:
Community Members can access and view the contents of the website for their own personal use only, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions.
What you cannot do:
Unless you have the written permission of, or a contract with Judy Hall/ Artemesia:
You may quote short sections (up to 50 words) of work by Judy Hall for academic work, articles, blogs and books. You must acknowledge these and any graphics in the following Manner:

Joining the Member Community
By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and by paying the appropriate subscription, you will be able to create a User Name and Password that will allow you access to the Member Community. The information you provide to Artemesia must be true and accurate and you agree that the membership is for your own personal use.
Fees and charges
The Membership fee is non-refundable and is not an agreement to supply the services on the Member Community. Artemesia reserves the right to control access to the Membership Community and may choose to change how Members access the site and permissions with regards to using the content.
Monthly and annual fees are available. Annual fees run for twelve months following commencement of subscription.
Artemesia will inform you of any increase in Membership fees by giving 2 month’s notice
Non-payment of fee will result in access to the Member Community being withdrawn.
Cancelling your subscription to the Membership Community
A Member can cancel their Membership subscription at any time after the initial membership period.
For both Annual and Monthly subscriptions, you must provide Artemesia with a minimum of 28-days’ notice of cancellation.
Annual Subscriptions: Artemesia will give a 7-day cooling off period for anyone signing up to an Annual Subscription. During the 7-day cooling off period, a member may cancel their subscription and receive a refund, however a £5.00 administration fee will be deducted from the refund to cover costs.
Following the cooling off period, the Annual subscription can only be cancelled at the end of the full year of membership, no part refunds will be given.
Monthly subscriptions: You must provide Artemesia with a minimum of 28 days’ notice that you wish to cancel. Payments will cease the month following. No refunds will be given, however, your access to the community site will continue up to the end of the final payment period.
You cannot transfer your membership to another person.
Website Maintenance & Downtime
Although Artemesia will do its best to make sure that www.judyhall.co.uk remains accessible 24/7, 365 days a year, occasionally essential maintenance will be needed, which will mean the site will be closed temporarily until this work is completed. On rare occasions the site might go down due to unforeseen circumstances and situations out of our control, if this occurs we will do our best to look into the problem and get the website back online as soon as possible.
Unless there is a severe or long term disruption to services Artemesia will offer refunds only at their discretion.
Where a member joins the Member Community Facebook Group, they are subject to the Guidelines published on the Member Community Facebook Group page. Artemesia reserves the right to withdraw Membership of the Member Community if it feels any Member has breached the Facebook page Guidelines.

The Terms and Conditions form an agreement between you and Artemesia. They are governed by laws of the United Kingdom and any disputes in relation to the Terms and Conditions are under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
Breaching the Terms and Conditions will result in Artemesia reviewing your membership and taking action, this includes stopping your access to the Member Only site. Serious breaches, especially with regard to breach of copyright, may result in legal action.
