THE BOOK OF WHY: Understanding Your Soul's Journey
Paperback: 220 pages
Publisher: Wessex Astrologer Ltd (10 Oct 2010)
ISBN-10: 190240548X
ISBN-13: 978-1902405483
Over thirty five years of exploring past lives, the afterlife, the interlife and the spaces in between have convinced Judy Hall that we are not victims of circumstance, nor are we solely a product of karmic consequences. We are all following a soulplan which may be strewn with obstacles but which will ultimately lead to soul growth. So if you’ve been asking yourself why certain things have happened to you, the key may lie in other lives or in the space between lives – the interlife.
More than half the world’s population believe in karma and reincarnation; that they have lived before, died, and taken on a new body, and that the body and the life they lead has been created by their previous actions or by the contracts they have made with another soul. However, from interlife exploration, it is clear that there are souls who are still fulfilling a soul contract that is way past its sell-by date. There are also souls who have chosen to undergo a specific life experience not because of their karma but because they want to cultivate their soul or to offer service to humanity. In this wide-ranging book, Judy Hall encompasses the vast kaleidoscope of karma and interlife choices.
The Book of Why explores:
· how the soul reincarnates
· death and the afterlife
· the concept of karma
· moving beyond karma
· soul contracts
· interlife choices

THE SOULMATE MYTH – A Dream Come True or Your Worst Nightmare?
Paperback: 250 pages
Publisher: Wessex Astrologer Ltd
ISBN-10: 1902405455
ISBN-13: 978-1902405452
Are you looking for a soulmate and expect to be blissfully happy when you find one? Have you found a soulmate only to be disappointed? Have you met several soulmates? Do you want to know why?
Soulmates are both a powerful fact and one of the biggest illusions of all time. This book explains why we so desperately seek a soulmate, and why few people find it the blissful experience they expect. It will show you why it might perhaps be better to avoid a soulmate altogether for the time being, and how to take back your heart if you have left it in the keeping of a false soulmate.
It will also help you to have a realistic enough picture of what a ‘soul mate’ could be to attract a true companion of the heart – a twinflame. And, on the other hand, it can help you to understand why your soulmate may also be an invaluable tool in your karmic learning and why there is no such thing as a wrong relationship or a mistaken connection because there is always a gift in the experience.
As Judy explains, your soulmate is rarely a person new to you, you have almost always met before in some other existence either in a former life on earth or another dimension and there will be unfinished business between you. Soulmates can be wonderful and terrible all at the same time and having your soul polished does have its positive side, but there are times when recognising that the contract has passed its sell by date allows you to move on.
This new book draws on Judy ’s thirty five years as a karmic counsellor examining karmic relationships in general and soulmates in particular. It explains why meeting a soulmate can be a soul-scouring experience and what the karmic lessons and conundrums may be. Offering exercises and visualisations to heal the past, it then introduces the revolutionary new concept of twinflames: soulmates without the karma.
"It is time people grew up in so many ways ... ... Yearning for a soulmate is a soppy as thinking when your knight on a white horse arrives he won't get a parking ticket just like everyone else. Shame most of them turn out to be more Coffeemate than Soulmate isn't it? I like the maturity that is promised by the Soulmate Myth."

PATTERNS OF THE PAST
Softback, 350 pages.
ISBN 1-902405-04-8
The Wessex Astrologer
In this important book Judy Hall challenges concepts that most of us take for granted, which perhaps we never thought through properly but which are actually central to our sense of placement in our own lives. What we ‘under-stand’ literally ‘stands-under’ us, providing the psychological and metaphysical foundation for what we think is real, which in turn conditions our method of dealing with our own experience, or how we move through time.
“Patterns of the Past is full of interesting anecdotes and is rich in case material: it is scholarly, readable, challenging, and above all, immensely practical. The beginner and the seasoned astrologer alike will find in its pages many ideas and references which will help awaken new understanding of the individual horoscope, and also a deeper awareness of the matrix within which it is set The world view within which our study of astrology is placed will yield perceptions accordingly. We can be divided from ourselves through the fear, blame and judgement engendered by a narrow reductive view, or we can embrace a more fluid healing perspective, which opens the possibility of Grace, choice and participation.” (Melanie Reinhart July 200)

KARMIC CONNECTIONS
Softback, 350 pages.
ISBN: 1-902405-10-2
The Wessex Astrologer
Karma shows itself in relationships. The people you meet, the expectations you have, the circumstances in which you relate, the kind of marriage or other association that you find yourself in all reflect previous liaisons. You are the sum total of all that has happened to you and much of your experience will come through relationships. If you have enjoyed good and positive relationships in the past, you will find relationships generally beneficial and life enhancing, but bad experiences will be traumatising and maybe even soul destroying. It is these difficult relationships that create the most ingrained karma and which need healing. The threads of relationship can often be traced back through several lives – most ‘significant others’ have been with you many times. Karmic Connections will help you to identify the history of these relationships through the birthchart and, where necessary assist you to release the past in order to move on.

PAST LIFE ASTROLOGY: How your former lives influence your present.
Softback, l60 pages Godsfield ISBN: 1-84181-3
Who were you in your previous lives? Were you perhaps a warrior, a princess, a doctor, a field hand or a pioneer? Past Life Astrology will help you to discover your roles in former incarnations and to explore their effect on your present life in terms of karma. Karma is the Buddhist and Hindu concept which considers the sum of a person’s actions in previous states of existence. It is purposeful, concerned with growth and evolution, rather than punishment, it is an on-going lesson. When you understand your birthchart from the karmic point of view, you will understand why you are here and what you hope to achieve. Past Life astrology shows you how to read your birthchart to reveal what lessons you need to learn in this life to fulfil your highest potential.
• Discover what lives you have lived in the past.
• Learn how to interpret your birthchart from a karmic perspective.
• Find out what your karmic purpose is in this life.
• Understand your present relationships in terms of your past life relationships.
Karma and Destiny
Karmic Astrology is the key to unlock your past lives. Whilst you cannot find the fine detail of former lives from your birthchart, the arrangement of the planets at the moment of your birth maps out your karma, highlights your soul’s challenges and pinpoints the ingrained patterns that you have carried over from other lives. Your chart maps your potential and purpose. It may also hint at where or how you have lived before.
Unlocking The Past Through Astrology
Karmic Astrology gives you the key to understand your past lives and the effect you have on your present life. Karmic Astrology helps you to understand your karmic inheritance and the way your soul wants to grow. Karmic simply means ‘pertaining to karma’ and this type of astrology looks to the past to explain the present.
You will no doubt be familiar with ‘sun-sign astrology’, based on the sign of the zodiac in which the sun resides at your birth, which says that as an Aries, for example, you will have particular character and a specific approach to the world. According to conventional astrology, the birthchart describes who you are. But the notion of a baby being a 'blank slate', randomly born at a specific moment in time imprinted with specific traits according to where the sun is to be found in the sky seems to many people to be nonsense.
However, astrology, and an individual's birthchart, is much more subtle than this. Your birthchart shows the heavens as they appeared overhead when you were born and, as such, is deeply symbolic. When introduced to in depth astrology and told that the birthchart is a map of your entire psyche with your in built expectations and ingrained reactions, as well as what will unfold during your life, you may well ask: "Why? Where does that come from? Why do I respond in that way, why do I have that particular expectation? What made me that way?"
Where did these traits come from? Only when you look at the idea of reincarnation can you find an answer. Reincarnation postulates that you have lived before and have incarnated once again into your present body. Where Karmic Astrology differs from conventional astrology is that karmic astrologers believe that the birthchart sets out a picture that reflects your previous experience, the credits and deficits you yourself created in another life. Conventional astrology says that these patterns arose from a random act of fate: your birth. A statement past life astrologers would strongly disagree with! Indeed, we would say that this moment of birth is carefully chosen so that the chart fits both your past experience and the lessons you have incarnated to learn as well as your potential for the future.
In other words, your birthchart is a map of your karma - the sum total of your actions in the past which will have an effect on your present life. However, it is not necessary to believe in previous lives to use Karmic Astrology. The past stretches back from a moment ago to as far as you want to take it: birth, conception or beyond. By looking at your chart from the karmic perspective, you will understand the person you are now and the potential you have for soul growth.
What Actually Reincarnates?
The soul, or spirit. This is the eternal, and many past life astrologers would say divine, part of you. Your eternal Self. It is the soul that wants to learn, to grow, to evolve. To do this, it uses a physical body. That body may be male or female, but the soul is not gender specific. Some lifetimes will be lived in a female body because it is more appropriate for the lessons to be learned or the karma to be worked with, other lives will be as a male.
